Closing Down
2 Answers
Nearly everytime I close down my HP PC running XP home, I get a message headed SGTRAY, saying if I end this program now etc..... Does any body out there know how I can get rid of this ? It is not affecting the performance - just getting on my nerves. Thanks in anticipation !!! Happy New Year.

If it doesn't appear in the list, or you don't want to get rid of the whole thing, click Start/Run and type "msconfig" (without quotes) Go to startup and look for sgtray.exe, uncheck the box. Then look under Services for System Guard or similar, and uncheck them. Reboot and see what happens when you try and shut down again.
