can i delete the songs i've downloaded from cds to itunes library? They're all on my ipod already, there's 700 mb there and it's really slowing down my computer but how will it affect the ipod if if I delete them?

Dumblonde - it is possible, but the problem is that by default your ipod sychronises with the library, therefore if you delete everything in your library, your ipod will be empty. However there is a way of turning off a setting which means that you are able to sent the songs to the ipod without keeping them in the library. Try www.ipodlounge.com. Hope this helps.
