Email received addressed to someone else.

I have just received an email which was not addressed to me. It was not picked up as spam and was not from anyone I know or which was recognised by the computer. It was an ordinary message from one individual to another and had no attachments. How can this happen?

Your address has accidentally been included in the 'Bcc' (blind carbon copy) box . So the only address shown in the mail will be the one which was entered into the main 'To' box.
