I deregistered years ago with twitter but now want to go back

I r logged on and it says i deregistered with my current email so if I want to reregister I need to use another email account. I only have one current email because I dont like faffing about with numerous accounts is there any way of setting up a free email account with say hot mail and then make the emails forward/redirect through to my current email address.
