GOOGLE EARTH

We have the standard version of google earth downloaded, however we are confused how we can get google street scene down loaded. My daughter lives in Australia and it would be lovely if we could view her street. Any ideas as to how we can download and is it free or is it pay as you go.

Just go onto google maps.......put in her address and bingo....I've just looked at my mate's house in Perth WA

First make sure you have the latest updates by selecting the "Check for updates online" in the Help menu.

If you use the sidebar then in the Layers section is Street View, so click on that to turn it on (if it's not already ticked).

Zoom in on wherever you want and you should find little camera icons on the map that you can click on to see the view.

In `Layers` you will see a little box for Street View, clk on that and double clk on the round eye quickly, wait until a zoom-in, and then up in the right hand corner is a navigation window for manipulating, then you can double click on other eyes to move along the roads and do 180deg turns. hth`s

in google maps 'satellite' pick up the little orange man from the zoom bar and place him on a street which has a white line on it jobsagoodun.
