philips mean time ?

My philips 610 dvd player / recorder has decided that we are 30 minutes behind time.
After recording or playing a dvd, the digital clock jumps forward by 30 minutes. I can rectify this by re setting the clock via the system menu, but next time I record, the same thing happens.
I could accept this situation until I upgrade, but if there is a simple solution, I would be grateful to know of it.
