I have my home telephone line with BT but when I receive telephone calls from anyone the line is terrible and when the caller speaks all I can get is bits of the conversation as it is like someone is switching the sound on and off.
BT says there is no fault with the line and an engineer says there is no fault inside my home.
So can anyone help me?
Is there anything I can do to improve my line, I don't have the internet on it or anything else just my home telephone.
Thanks in advance.

1. Is your phone a digital cordless?
2. Is it plugged directly into the incoming bt master socket?

Check by trying a friends known good phone .. cos that's what it sounds it could be.
