chatting to my friend with an audio convo tonite... only problem was, was that she could hear me fine but i couldn't hear her very well, it was "jerky". is there anything to do to make this better! its probably got something to do with me being on broadband and her not. right?!

any help would be great

MSN is generally pretty poor even if you both have broadband.  Try www.skype.com instead.  It's they way it should be done!

cheers gandy.. so this skype thing... is it totally free if you're talking to someone else on a computer! whats all that stuff about buying credit or something?!

You were right with your original assumption that the poor reception in one direction was due to one being on ADSL and the other on dial-up. The use of Skype successfully is due to the advent of broadband.Regarding the credit, this is only required if you are using the PC to talk to a land-line, PC to PC is free.
