Hi
My netbook has the HD (160Gb) divided into C and D drives, 80Gb per partition. I don't really need the partition, is it easy to go back to just the C drive, and if so, how do I do it ? Many thanks

I tried this with my old PC using Paragon hard disk manager 9.5 which I would recomend as its easy to use.I am a complete dunce when it comes to computers, but thanks to places like this(answerbank I mean)I am slowly learning
In Windows XP, rightclick MyComputer and select 'Manage'. Select 'Disk Management' and make sure the view/bottom/graphical view is ticked Then right click the D drive or whichever you want to delete. You should then get a menu with an 'delete partition' option.
I have used this before and it works but, as Chuck said, always back up first just in case.

All that will do is leave the OP with one 80GB partition - it won't create one single 160GB partition which I believe (reading between the lines) is what the OP wants...
I'd advise to try to keep your operating system only on the C: drive, and your personal installations/data on the D:. Not that I can be bothered, but I'm always intending to do so.
