PDF is a file format used by Adobe Acrobat. Try downloading the latest version from http://www.adobe.com
If you already have Adobe it will open when you click on a PDF file, so it may be that you clicked on one email which opened it and then the other which would bring up a message saying it's open?

Is that a free download,it seems as though you have to buy it???I don't really want something just to read an occasional phone bill...Thanks for your quick reply!!!
No it's free. Just click on where it says "get adobe reader". Make sure you untick "get google toolbar" then click the yellow "download button"
I wouldn't use adobe reader, although it is the priginal PDF reader it has become bloated over the years and is now far too large for what it actually does.

I always use foxit PDF reader which is a lot smaller and lighter than adobe reader but still does exactly the same job (and being smaller loads a lot faster)

I muist admit Chuck, I was rather surprised when I checked out the link for the poster and found Adobe reader was 37 Mb!!
I've just checked, I've got Adobe Reader 8.2.2 installed and it shows as being 154.6 MB
So that can go! Foxit reader 6.68 MB. That's more like it.
Thanks for the tip Chick - I'm going to change mine now!
