Date and Time settings

Hi all

Each time I logg off my pc, the date and time settings change. I keep resetting them but they dont seem to save. It is now saying year 2007.

Can anyone help me??

you need to replace the battery that keeps the clocks time.

though when you say log(g) off do you mean switch the computer off?

Yes, I mean switch the computer off.

Click on clock at bottom right and then change settings. Go to internet time and make sure its synced with time.windows.com

then you need to replace the little battery on the motherboard that keeps the time and date (plus a few other) settings.

they are normally CR3032 button cell batteries, but it may not be depending on make and model of computer.
