I’ve just got a new lappy with Windows 7 and while bumbling about I stumbled across a click through that when clicked displayed a couple of speedo/rev counter type things that came up in the top right hand corner showing the RAM usage and % etc? I cant find them anymore? It’s a Dell so I’m not sure if it’s part of the Dell dock software? Does anyone know where it is?

it's not a standard part of window7, so must be to do with dell in some way.

if you can't find it again you can get the same info by right clicking on the taskbar at the bottom of the screen and selecting task manager then clicking on the performance tab.
It is a sidebar add on,nothing to do with Dell, just type in the start menu thing, sidebar and you should get a list of what is avalable.Click on the 'get more'link and you will be able to get this if its not already there.I love mine, but also shows you when your computer needs upgrading cos it 'revs'fairly high.
Enjoy!
