Microsoft Office and Word

I have discs for both of these but what is the difference? Do I need to use both or just one? TIA

Microsoft Word is part of Microsoft Office, which contains other components such as Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook etc.

Microsoft Word is a word processing programme. It exists as a stand-alone product or as part of the Microsoft Office suite of applications.

No matter which you have, you would still use Word for making a CV...

what versions of each have you got? and are they a full licensed copy with a license key number, or just trial versions?

I always thought Word is part of Office and can not be installed separately. BUT if you have a Word disc, then use that...I mean install that CD and use it for creating your CV.
