DVD / BluRay dual format discs
3 Answers
Has anyone had any problems with these?
These a new release that I want to buy which is very unlikely to be in the shops (because it's an obscure film) and so will have to order it online. I haven't bought one of these dual format discs before and would just like some confirmation that there is no problem playing them in any DVD players.
Is that correct that they are DVD on one side and BluRay on the other,? If that is the case then I can't see why there would be a problem but would just like to be sure.

It should play the DVD side fine in any standard DVD player, just make sure you don't get an old DVD/HD-DVD flipper disk that were about a few years ago as you'll never find anything to play the HD-DVD side of it!
