Help quick getting Avatar

I've managed to get as far as Manage Gravatars and have clicked my picture to show and clicked `Confirm`.....now what? nothing is happening, I have minimised it whilst I write this. Come-back.

Have you come back onto AB, then clicked on your Profile and activated it by clicking - then gone to the bottom of the page and clicked Submit? That should be IT...?

Have you registered with Gravatar.com?

Go to your Profile,then below your Default avatar you should see this line....
Clear the checkbox to stop showing it.

Are you still seeing the default avatar? Maybe you need to register in Gravatar.com
Click on where it says 'Gravatar.com' and it will take you to that website.
Tap in your Email address,and let me know how you get on from there......

Do as boxtops says. Then, once your box is ticked to show your avatar is active, if it's not showing you should log out of AB, clear your cache (Control/F5) or if you use Internet Explorer use Tools, options, Delete, delete,..), then log back into AB.

Let us know whether you can see the tick box

keep pressing Ctrl & F5 till the avator shows. It takes me five hits !

Once you have registered and received an email message from Gravatar.com you will be able to log on to their site,and you can then click on a 'Get your Gravatar today' Button there.Once you click on this button you will be well away on receiving your avatar.
Well, it worked for me anyway........

Frustarting this- is this the third or fourth time you've had to stop trying because your head was spinning/tea waas rready etc.
It's hard to keep track of what stage you're at.
Anyway, try again tomorrow and we'll be here to help(afternoon only for me though).

Factor30, Hi there, sorry am not well to-day, as squad may verify I am not in the best of health with prostate cancer and today has not been a good one, and am going to hospital tomrrow for a bone scan again. I will, and am determined to get a avater even if it`s the last thing I do.

Sorry to hear about your health problems carlton. Good luck tomorrow with your scan. Hubby has cancer of the oesophagus and is undergoing chemo at the moment so I really wish you well.
