Hi, I bought a Sony PRS-300 and connected it to my laptop and went through all the bits to make it work. I registered it with Sony and downloaded the 25 free classic books offered which do work and can be read. I then bought some ebooks from Waterstones which I was able to download to the laptop (but not able to read) and add to the Reader Library BUT when I try to transfer them to the reader itself, it tells me that "there is no license to view on this device or it is authorized to another user".

What have I done wrong and how can I fix it? (sorry to be so long-winded!) I have printed off the manual as well. Any help would be gratefully appreciated. I know I could contact Sony but thought I would ask you first!

Have you set up an Adobe account? If so, did you ensure that the email address you used for your Waterstones.com account is the same as the one you used to register with Adobe? If not, your device will see the files as registered to a different user.

Sony Reader Support is on 0845 6000 124 (Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm).

Thanks Chris, yes I think that's what I've done! I use different email accounts for different subjects (family, shopping etc) now I just have to work out which ones I used! Should've stuck to paper books!
