Downloading from Limewire to MP3....

Remarkably, I managed to download some tunes from Limewire and transfer them from the laptop to the MP3 player - And I thought I was being a clever cloggs! However, there is no sound from the MP3 player when the songs are played (not much bloody good, eh?!).

However, again, when I plug in the MP3 player and the play list comes up on the screen, and I click on a song, there is music blaring out of the laptop.

The headphones are working as some existing songs on the MP3 are still there and working...

Anyone any the wiser as to what I'm doing wrong...? Ta

That is payback for downloading songs illegally. You'll probably go to Hell too...

You probably have the wrong file type for them to play on your MP3 player.

snags - I didn't know it was illegal - ooops. I'm not very good at technology.... as I have demonstrated in the past...!!

The program itself isn't illegal but downloading copyrighted music for free from it is (immoral too).

I still think it is a file type issue though. Some MP3 players will not play back files that are in WMA (windows media audio) format.

It's going to be either the wrong file type as daffy said, or if they are MP3's then possibly they are recorded in a bitrate (quality) that the player doesn't support.

Errr.. how do you download from my i-tunes folder to the MP3... I've only ever done it to disc.... (told you I was crap at technology!!)

The government or something is going to make it that if you get caught downloading off those kinds of sights, your internet speed is severely slowed down and you'll probably be fined aswell.
