Send a fax on broadband?

How do i send a fax when im on broadband from my PC?

I do believe that you cannot Fax via broadband - I have the same problem, faxes need a dial up modem as the phone line is analogue (as per the fax) and broadband is digital,the link (at th end of the information) refers to alternative fax facilities that provide you with an e-mail type fax facility.

Do email to fax and vice versa.  This is done via the web, so will work with broadband.  Unfortuantely you have to pay for the service.

I agree with alunrw - can't be done but I shall check out the links mentioned above.

Needs a 'phone line. Chances are you have upgraded to Broadband and still have a modem in the PC so use that if you can - it's what I do.

try yac if it is just to receive faxs. they convert a fax to email and it is free.
