Phone display breaking up.

The display on my home cordless phone is starting to disappear, obviously some of the LCD (or is it LED?) is giving up the ghost.
Is it repairable, or is the best and cheapest option just to get a new phone?

I would, but we use it for business and we like to see who is calling, or to get the number of someone who has rung with an enquiry.
After all, no good paying for "caller display" if it doesn't work.

Doubt it could be repaired. Get a new one - Panasonic are the best (IMNSVHO)

Just replaced a rubbish BT Verve cordless system with a Panasonic. Best thing we have done for ages.

If you're going to be replacing it anyhow it's got to be worth taking it apart and checking it's not just a loose connection somewhere. Nothing to lose really.

Thanks for the suggestion guys, guess we are more victims of the throw-away society. Seems a shame to chuck a perfectly useable phone, maybe I can give it to a suitable charity.
Mine is BT Studio. Been OK for about 3 Years.
Will certainly look at Panasonic range, we need a home station with ansaphone, plus an extension phone in a building down the garden
