computer is shutting down and restarting itself
4 Answers
This has happened twice just now when I was playing two (hidden objects) games that I purchased a few years ago. Suddenly the screen went blank and the computer shut itself down and then re started.
I might add that I haven't played these games for a long time.
Does anybody have any ideas why this is happening?
Thanks in advance.

also turn off automatic restart on system failure and you should see a blue screen if it does it again, make a note of what the writing says, it may look gibberish but it does say what the problem is. (the setting to turn it off is in system properties, click on advanced tab, startup and recovery, how to get to system properties varies depending on windows version)
