When I tryed to log on to chessbase.com it said no inetrnet connection but I am connected.  The same happens when I try to long on to a chat room

any ideas?

just read this, sorry i dint reply earlier. It could be that if you are behind a firewall, or in work etc you may be blocked from accessing these sites. However, if you are having this problem at home try making sure your java component is working. Click tools>internet options>advanced. Make sure java virtual machine is checked. If u still cant access chatrooms etc try downloading java virtual machine from sun corporations.
