I have to contact DVLA reference my ability to carry on driving, due to eyesight problems. The number to contact is a 0300 one. Has anyone any idea the charge for this. Being a wrinklie am a bit concerned about dialling a code I have never heard of. Thanks for any help in advance.

Calls from a BT landline are charged at just under 5p per minute (4.888p for the pedantic around here!) during the day (Monday to Friday).

If the service is available for you to use during the evening (or at night) the charge is just under 2p per minute (1.998p).

If you can call at weekends, the charge is a little over 1p per minute (1.175p).

All of those charges include VAT.
