As you may know, I'm rubbish at googling stuff and well technology in general.

Me and dad have tried finding the website of a paper that I'll probably be in soon. The town we were in was Whitehills but we're not sure what the paper was called, so I'd be grateful if a computer whizz could somehow find it.

I was in a place in the world in the northern hemisphere that was cold every day, in august!
I liked the way they felt the need to capitalise FOOLHARDY!
Molly, that's called Scotland - if you're on the East coast its always windy and freezing but sometimes dry, if your on the West then it's not so cold and Windy but it's always P!ssing down. I live in the middle and get a bit of everything - all on the same day.
Was it the Press and Journal?
Question Author
There were photographers and reporters and they said that we'll probably be on the front page of the local paper as nothing much happens there.
That could be a national scottish newspaper Molly - nothing much happens in the entire country!
Question Author
It wasn't national it was some kind of local paper for the district I think they said
Take your pick from the North East ones:

According to my atlas Whitehills is on the North East ish side of Forfar town so Chuck's original suggestion looks good.
Its honestly not even near Forfar -eff knows how that comes up in google apart from the local Hospital being called Whitehills.
Whitehills is on the Moray Firth -my favourite part of Scotland and its at least 3hrs from Forfar -where i'm in Perthshire and Forfar is 20mins from me -depending on how deperate I want a Maccy D's :)
Pardon me but I am looking at a real atlas on the desk in front of me. Whitehills appears to be a district on the outskirts of Forfar.

chuck For Funks Sake I told you we tried googling it and couldn't find it.

and chucks subsequent reply-bet he was laughing as well Comedy gold :)
Why is Molly treated as being cheeky when she gets exasperated with another user and yet everyone else is allowed? I know she's younger, but surely we're all equals on here - I wouldn't like to be told off for getting a bit ticked off with someone just because they were older than me. I know we should respect our elders but that should apply to everyone. I'm not trying to stir anything up, I just see Molly getting that type of reaction quite often and I don't really think it's fair.
Karen-singing from the same songsheet if you want to look back:)
I just loved her response as it was out her character but fair play to chuck he took it on the chin and didnt patronise her.
Theres one person who shall remain nameless but wasnt on last night (cos her backup is on holiday) who just wades in and gives her sh1t.
It is so bleeding obvious.
Same person who posted a thread who wondered where that poster was but she has the posters email addy and lo and behold the wanderer returned.
THATS what pee's me off about AB -the fact they take us for tubes aarrgghh !!
Molly

It might be one of the following..The Inverness Courier, The Banffshire Journal or The Press and Journal.

Apologies to all for the understandable error. My excuse is the Chuck is very seldom wrong. Will now go and stand in corner till 'Wallander' starts on BBC 4
It is almost certain to be in here. Happy hunting.
