re booting my pc to factory settings

i have a e-system windows vista pc, its a few years old and i dnt have the disk for it. does anyone know hoe i re boot it back to factory settings. i did this once before where i had to press a F key at start up but cant remember what i prssed or when i had to press it. can anyone help

First of all, may we enquire as to why you would wish to restore it back to factory defaults?

its extremely slow, have restored it bk to earlier dates. taken everything i can think of off it but it is stil really slow.
