Google Earth

There are areas on the maps on my Google Earth that dont clear after zooming in, no matter how long I wait,but they did before.Also there are areas that I could zoom into to a lower altitude and get a clear image but now I cant?

Why are areas that had a clear image before, and why when I zoom to a lower altituded on areas that I could before I cant get a clear image.Has something changed or is it my computer?

I find that from time to time some areas block out altogether - I have always assumed it's because that area's being updated.
