windows firewall

i cant seem to be able to turn on my windows firewall{vista} can anyone help

If you go to start and access the security centre you should have the Firewall settings available there

I'm fine thanks redman......just flown in to the Uk for first time in several weeks ........here for a gig in London tonight.....flying out again tommorrow.....family all abroad.....just me and thsi huge house.......good to see it......thinking to cut the grass but neighbours did it about 2 weeks ago so may just chill instead until about 4..........hope all wells your end, red and i send you greetings and salutations :0) x

In answer to your question, redman's idea is the answer....maybe it's switched off.....go to start....security on control panel and change if off.....good luck :0)

If you already have ANOTHER firewall installed then the Windows firewall is turned off automatically and you can turn it on again.

Do you have other security on your PC that may include another firewall ?
