recording dvd to mp3

hi,
i've got a live gig on a dvd and would like to record the soundtrack to mp3 so i can put it on my mp3 player.
can anyone recommend an easy way to do this?

Have a look at http://www.imtoo.com/dvd-audio-ripper.html although it is shareware, don't know the restrictions. That'd be the easiest. Next easiest would be to record it to hard disk as you play it. You probably got some software that'll record to disk with your sound card or cd writer. Then you'll either be good to go 'cos it'll have recorded in mp3, or you'll have to rip it to mp3 with your usual ripper.
A potential problem with recording anything that goes through your sound card is that if you, for example, click on anything then any audible "mouse click" sounds (or ANY Windows/program sounds in addition to the audio that you're after) will be recorded.
