Windows Mail ... Can't Attach Things

Any ideas what to do about this?

I draft an email in Windows Mail. I attach a simple file (eg, Spreadsheet). The attachment appears in the "Attach:" window.

When I click "Send" I get this message ...

"Some of the files could not be found, and could not be attached to the message. Would you like to send the message anyway?"

This happens every time.

Any ideas?

Is there some fix, or update, that will resolve this?

Firstly make sure you have everything closed that might be locking the files , I.E, if it's a spreadsheet make sure you've closed excel, and also make sure you've got no other explorer windows open that can see the file.
OH, I was down in your neck of the woods on Sunday, eating ice cream in the rain on the pier :)

The Pier's a bit grim in the rain, isn't it.

Did you find anyone who spoke English?

The Pier has become like a Polish or Ukranian suburb !
