digital tv

Have got a 4yr old tv in the bedroom running off a loft aerial I installed....Have also got a dish outside with Freesat for the downstairs tv. Is it better to use the dish, and if so what would a box cost to convert the signal to digital??? All suggestions appreciated! Thanks, John Ps. Took a while to get on this site to-day!.

Forget about the antenna to the bedroom. Use the cable to pull through the second sat cable from the loft where it would connect to the dish LNB.
You're not converting any signal to digital.
Use an old Sky box with an old card, or a standard Freesat receiver for the bedroom.
