Records to blank disc ok and plays ok in machine, but when I finalise the disc and play it in another dvd player the picture is perfect but there is no sound. Anyone any ideas?

can i suggest you check your scart lead this happened to us and the scart lead was not in right it played dvd but no sound we replaced the scart and it was fine after. might not be that but its worth a try,

Thanks folks. Scart leads seem ok. The problem is after I finalise the disc and play it in another dvd player. I've tried it in two dvds, the result is the same perfect picture no sound.

Disc will not play at all on computer!

Bad disc then, try another one, it's a bummer! but it happens.
