Transfer photos to Folders
5 Answers
I have a Dell computer with Vista.
Have down loaded from my digi camera memory to the computer.
I am trying to sort the shots into Folders, say, family, holidays. weddings etc.
Also I believe that instead of downloading all the shots I can select particular ones?
Any help?

DONT wipe them off your camera untill you are sure they are all downloaded or you will lose them.
Instead of trawling through folder trees, right click on desktop and select 'new folder' and name it (kodakmemory?) so all your pics are safe and easily accessed.
You can keep making new folders as many as you need. Then simply drag the ones you want to the folder you want them in.
to select particular ones, hold down the Ctrl key and choose the ones you want to pick. When you have highlighted all the ones you want let the Crtl key go and copy in the folder you want.
To do most simple tasks with photos you may want to download the free Irfanview photo editor and the plugins. It is absolutely free and will handle even some advanced editing.
