I can't access my email account

Each time I attempt to access my Yahoo email account, my emails fail to load. I addition to this I lose my wireless network connection, and have to re-connect. My laptop operates on all software applications and other URL's without problem.
I have scanned for any possible virus and malware.infections and none are present.
Can anyone please shed any light on this problem or suggest how it may be rectified - I would be most gratful for any suggestions.

have you up dated to the latest Yahoo e mail ? when i did i had all sorts of issues one being mega slow loading mails, i just opted for the original version ( it does give the option somewhere on the home page) not quite sure how this would affect the internet connection though.
