How do I set up the password for my wirless at home? The netgear box has a username and password printed on it, I just don't know how to actually set it up and at the moment the world and his wife can access my internet - if they sit on my driveway.

The username/password on the box is for gaining access to the router's admin functions - you need to use it first to gain access to the admin functions, and from there you can change the password that people on your driveway use.
Your router is probably at http://192.168.0.1 or http://192.168.1.1

ok so I went to the 192 bit and it prompts me to enter username and password, which I do but the box just keeps popping up again leaving the username in but no password as if it wants me to enter it again.....
The default username and password for netgear routers is

Username: admin
Password: password
