what is it and where online can i find out more about it?
I've done a google search but they are v complicated! would like simpler language!

Any time you see an RSS link on a webpage click it and Pluck will literally pluck the updated contents of the page and update them everytime you log on (or after an baout of time that you specify)
RSS stands for (now at least) Really Simple Syndication. An agregator simple checks a bunch of websites that you tell it too and then delivers the newest content and deletes the older stuff. It's kinda like having the news emailed to your browser.
