Replacement keyboard for HP G61 laptop. Plese help me!!
6 Answers
Hello all :o)
Well my laptop is finally not talking to me after I accidently smashed a wine glass (with a small amount in the bottom) over the keyboard part. I dried it out and after removing keyboard etc. it eventually worked and has been for the last 3 weeks till last night when it has decided to stop all together!! Sometimes it works, then it refuses.
Please can someone give me the web address to buy a new replacement keyboard. I don't know which ones to trust as I have never had to buy this sort of thing before, so trust you lot here to point me in the right direction please :o)

Damaging your laptop is bad enough but wasting wine is criminal!

Just a small possibility... do you have a can of compressed air? You've no doubt dislodged some dust which may now be sticky and short circuits some connections. You have to take the keyboard out again anyway, so try a good old blast all thought the laptop. Even if that doesn't fix the keyboard, it cleans the guts of the unit out and so you may be forestalling a possible fault showing up in the future.
