File converstion

I taoe my music interviews using a digital recorder.

I want to burn them onto CD, but my PC has saved them as WMA files, which Windows Media Player will not recognise.

Is there a simple way to convert them to MP3 - if in fact that is the best option for sotrage? Any advice appreciated, thank you.

Windows Media Audio (WMA) is an audio data compression technology developed by Microsoft, forming part of the Windows Media framework.

Windows Media Player (WMP) is a proprietary digital media player and media library application developed by Microsoft, forming part of the Windows Media framework.

WMA is a default file format of WMP.
