Am I missing something here ? I have been loaned a netbook whilst my laptop is being
repaired, this morning I needed to send an email so opened Outlook 2007, wrote my
email, put in the email address for it to go to, but where the hell is the send button? I looked everywhere but still cannot find it, any ideas.

click on the view menu and select toolbars > standard and it should be there.

(I assume you have also setup your mail account in outlook?)

Thanks chuckfickens, I have been all down that road, gone into toolbars etc. and still
no send button, what a piece of Cr**p outlook is.
As Chuck say, have you set up your email details in there? It won't just magically know who you are.
It's immediately to the left of the "To..." button which is itself immediately to the left of the field where you type in the address.
Having just checked, there is no send or send and receive button if you don't setup your mail account details.

So, I'll ask again, have you actually entered your email details (server names, user name, password, etc etc) into outlook?
Question Author
As I said, yes I have set up all my email details, and there is nothing to the left of the to
button, I have now set up and sent it by Google mail, so much easier, and I maintain
what a piece of Cr**p outlook is...
"As I said, yes I have set up all my email details"

You've not said that.

All you've said is you have written an email and entered the address to send it to. before you can use outlook you have to tell it who you are, what mail servers to use and what your username and password are for that server.

If you've not entered all those details then there is no send button.

Look at the second posting chuck it says "Ive been all down that road" meaning Ive done everthing suggested and still no send button, but as Ive sent it Google mail now
it does'nt matter any more but thanks anyway.
