BM2 file

does anyone know how to open a bm2 file?

a colleague gave me disc with some resources on and some of them won't open. i have tried all the usual (adobe, word)
i have googled how to do it but i don't understand most of it!

is there a program i can download to open a bm2 file

BM2s are most often just renamed bitmap files, make a copy of it and rename the suffix to bmp and try double clicking it
