does it look like a blanket with armholes ? DIL bought me that......will be on ebay soon !
Yes, my OH got one for Christmas. You put your arms through it but it doesn't have any fasteners at the back. Only a glorified fleece with armholes, not exactly high tech. We were in hysterics as OH looked like a monk in it.
Yes, I do
isn't what you are describing a slanket?
plus, it must be something else - surely a blanket isn't technology?
It was actually called a Snuggle, it's on the box.
Sounds ideal sitting in a cold room working on your computer, without heating. Might buy one.
There are various versions of this idea.
I usually have a fleece over me when watching TV in the evening and have often thought this might be a good idea, but really I can't see how it would be an improvement on my dressing gown.
I got one 2009 Christmas, still in the bag despite all the low temperatures we've had. As yogasun says, it doesn't fasten at the back, and it is at least two foot too long all round, would have to take it off to walk anywhere, which kind of defeats the object of keeping warm!! Could cut a lump off I suppose, but much prefer my cosy dressing gown.(as for sitting in a cold room with it on Beswad, your back would be freezing. Complete waste of money IMO which is a pity, because the kind thought was there. rosy

oh good, I;m glad it;s not just me! I thought there was a belt ot something missing and that I had the wrong size, it says 'one size hits all' on the box, I asked my son to get me one but the arms are about 4 feet long, and like a few have said, it doesn't fasten at the back and is too long! It's not what i thought
Hahahaha...what's this doing in 'technology'???...are they THAT complicated? lol

I thought so pasta lol
it catches the salacious dribbles and crumbs. Pockets for fags would be handy.
the super slanket has a pocket
I have a 'cheaper' version, only cost £6 from the bookman at work. I keep it drapped over my side of the bed. I find it quite good if I am sat up in bed watching telly, unless my arms are under the duvet I get cold so using the snuggle over the bed means I can happily carry on drinking my glass of wine without having to keep moving the duvet about and putting the glass down. The only downside is having to get up to go to the loo ;o)
My £6 one has a big pocket at the front :o)
Wot a load of old toot! it would be easier & cheaper to put on your dressing gown
back to front. (the same difference eh?)
You mean this? I really laughed when I first seen this commercial. Aren't these dangerous if you're carrying hot food or drink as they seem to have several metres of excess material which could wrap themselves around your feet? If I walked into someones house and they were all wearing this I would firstly laugh and then walk out as it's almost looks like all the wearers of this are in some weird creepy cult.

I totally agree, the only good thing about it is that apparently the material keeps the body heat in, which i thought my dressing gown diod anyway, It is dangerous and awkward, I haven't used it , (lol adverts just been on and it says thick luxurious fleecing, that must mean the selling technique lol)
