VHS to DVD

I bought yesterday a kit to convert tape recordings to DVD via a USB plug into my PC. The input side of the device has yellow and white/red sockets (RCA?) and a 5 pin socket (like computer keyboards used to have.) The only outputs on my VHS machines are coax, scart, and red/white (which I believe are audio only) - no red. How do I hook these up?

The red and white connectors are audio, the yellow one is composite video and the 5 pin socket is S-video.

Scart will output all of the above, you'll need to use the audio and either one of the two video connections, S-video will give you better quality. the links below will give you all the kit you need (if you use s-video leave the yellow lead of the three in the bottom link disconnected)
