How do you organize a search in Google etc?
I know '+' which is supposed to require that that item be found and '-' which excludes it. Is there an order preference? Do quotation marks matter? Do capitals?

I think that link doesn't work, try this one:

http://www.google.co.uk/help/basics.html

Capitals don't matter. Quotation marks do as everything inside the quotations must be in the site title/description.

This is what I use as a memory nudge.

Typing in west ham brings up all wests and all hams

Typing in "west ham" brings up all west ham things such as cafes, taxis etc

Typing in "west ham + football" brings up all west ham football hits and disregards cafes shops taxis

Typing in T:shakespeare brings up all sites with shakespeare in the title.

Typing in "python-monty" brings up all pythons but no montys.

The more words you have inside quotation marks the fewer, and sometimes no sites will be found.

Hope this helps
