hi

whats smaller a 'gif file' or pdf? Aparently it pops up when you scan or download a document?
Asking this on someone elses behalf, not not sure what i am actually talking about!lol!

A gif is a compressed image with limited colour depth. A pdf is actually a container which can contain a combination of formatted text, images, and even fonts. So there is no real comparison.

a gif is usually smaller in file size due to the reasons above.
