Sky + box

Picture is fine,but sound is just like static,have switch off & again but no joy,tried another scart lead,also sky did a software update,no joy,now have to wait for engineer,any suggestions,please.

May seem like a daft Question, have You pressed mute button on Sky remote or TV remote by any chance if no sound at all....

Could you try making your tv do a search for a stonger signal?

Thanks all, sky did do a restart & up date,which did,nt clear it, so now waiting for engineer.
