PS2 online

Just got a network adaptor for my PS2, which is great, but am at present, unplugging my pc from modem to play the PS2, and then vice versa when using the pc. is there a more permanent route i could go down?.

p.s. I don't want another modem installed

You won't have the option of another modem - you can only use one at a time on a broadband connection.

You can, however, use a router to share your connection between PC and PS2. If all you're ever going to connect just these 2 then get a 2 port router. If you think that in future you'll also want to connect a laptop or anything else, consider a 4 port one.

You can't really use a hub as that would effectively be connecting two devices to the broadband connectionat the same time - not allowed unless a router is used as described above.

A hub could be used if only the PC or the PS2 was switched on, not both at the same time.
