One of our x boxes is broken (doesn't know it's got a disc in it when it has). We had to get one fixed before but I can't remember how I go about getting it. Thanks for any help you can give.
Thanks Chris - will wait till the eldest gets home from school tomorrow and have a go at it. I can't even work the controller thing. We currently have three x boxes and need to get one fixed so that we can swap it with another one that needs fixed (and then have a spare that works).
Well, it used to be said that all video recorders should be provided with a 10-year-old child as an accessory, so that you could actually programme it, so that makes perfect sense to me ;-)
I even have to wait for him to get home from school if the Internet goes off. He has been instructed on what wires go into what gizmo thingy - my husband knows that I wil just pretend to listen to him when he expains it to me so has explained it to the boy.
Hi sherrardk. Now listen very carefully whilst I explain, have a word with your eldest & ask him/her to explain things & write everything down on a note pad.If you've got to wait in until someone comes in you're wasting an awful lot of time.I'm 85 years old & my youngest grandson taught me from scratch 3 years ago,I am now confident & competant enough to even accomplish tasks like for instance putting a new & bigger hard drive in my computer tower & all wiring etc. Better still buy yourself the following book from Amazon which over the years has helped me tremendously.Ron.♥
