Saving fro Sky+ for posterity

My little girl recently had her birthday card read out on CBeebies and whilst I've saved it to my Sky+ box, is there a way I can copy it to DVD or USB?

highlight the programme on the planner and you should see that by pressing the red button you can copy it to whatever recording equipment you may already have attached to your system.

we still have our vhs recorder in the loop and often use this trick when the sky+ planner is nearly full and other programmes are waiting to be recorded.

Note there is no way to copy anything on a Sky box to USB.

But you can copy to DVD, I do it all the time.
