my call list isn't working anymore. if i miss a call, i have no way of finding out who it was. does anyone know if there's a simple way to fix this, or who to call - service provider or phone manufacturer?

Under "settings" try a "master reset".

That should fix it. You might well lose any data in your phone, though.
