Will I lose all my songs and apps??

I need to transfer my iTunes for my iPhone to my new computer (my old one broke) and it says it needs to erase my iPhone to do so. Will I lose all the songs and apps I paid for?? Or will they transfer over with iTunes?? I would be very upset if I lost all of what I bought just because I had to replace my computer!!! So please tell me, will my songs and apps transfer???????

You should have some way to back the phone up the computer before you erase it? I have this problem with my contacts on my phone, I keep meaning to back them up but forget, every time I have to reboot the phone I lose the lot, photos, games too.
