The Perils Of Privatisation - Part X

FIFA 10 is the current instalment of the successful EA football franchise, the eighteenth title in the long running FIFA series.
Following on from the success of FIFA 08 and 09, FIFA 10 has moved into new, realistic depths with the “total football experience”, accurately mimicking player movements, abilities and team dynamics to produce the most accurate (and fun) football sim on the market.
FIFA has been the dominating force in the football sim field for quite some time, but things weren’t always as peachy as they are now. A few years ago FIFA’s untouchable first place was snatched away by the seminal Pro Evolution Soccer, forcing the developers at EA to up their game and attempt to reclaim their previously unchallenged title.
If anything, EA’s brief slip into complacency has done more for their flagship sports game then five years of unopposed mastery of the genre would have.
Single player is greatly improved with an advanced manager mode and online multiplayer is smoother than ever.
EA also offer a great deal of downloadable content, such as Ultimate Team, up to date team rosters and transfer updates.
