If you stand on the Town Quay next to where the IoW car ferries berth you can see a strange silver building on the opposite bank as you look west. It looks like an upturned bowl. CAn anyone tell me what it is please???

Marchwood Incinerator.

I found out this as follows. I went to the goole page above, hovered on the "box" in the top right that said Map (orEarth) and on the small menu that came down selected Photos.

That placed little "picture" icons all over the Google page, and then looked at each one till I found one that said what it was.

well done vhg, everything else has a label on the map, but that never never thought to look at photos.
